Services can be arranged to mark the special events which affect people's lives.
The most common events, of course, are Births, Marriages and Deaths but there may be other occasions to which individuals wish to give religious expression.
As Unitarians we treat each of these occasions as unique. If people wish they may use a traditional format for the service or they may design a totally new format.
The minister or lay leader who is going to conduct the service will always discuss the content in advance. This is to ensure that the occasion gives appropriate expression to the feelings and beliefs of those concerned. Every effort will be made to make it a memorable and meaningful time for those involved.
This flexibility in celebrating life's main events make Unitarian services particularly appropriate for those with special requirements, such as marriages between people of different religious backgrounds.
Wick Chapel is a licensed premises for marriage. If you wish to make it the location for your special occasion, please contact our lay leader.
